Terms of Service
1. Product status
Noteaux is currently under active development and is offered on a pre-release / beta basis. Features may change, be incomplete, or be temporarily unavailable. Noteaux is not yet guaranteed to be suitable for production or mission-critical use.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use Noteaux only for lawful purposes, and not to use it to violate the rights of others, circumvent security controls, or misuse any connected third-party service.
3. Recording consent and local law
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Noteaux to record, transcribe or analyze a meeting complies with the consent and notification requirements of the law applicable to you and the other meeting participants. Recording laws vary by jurisdiction, and Noteaux does not verify or guarantee your compliance with them.
4. Third-party integrations and services
Noteaux may support optional integrations with third-party services, including calendar providers and AI/transcription providers. Your use of any such third-party service is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy, in addition to these Terms. Noteaux is not responsible for the availability, accuracy or conduct of third-party services you choose to connect.
5. Availability and beta limitations
As pre-release software, Noteaux may experience downtime, data-processing errors, incomplete features, or changes to functionality without prior notice. Noteaux does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation during this stage.
6. Intellectual property
Noteaux, its branding, and its underlying software are the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Noteaux's intellectual property to you. You retain ownership of your own meeting content, including audio, transcripts and derived data generated from your use of the product.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Noteaux is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during this pre-release stage, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Noteaux and its developers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product, including reliance on generated transcripts, summaries or other derived meeting intelligence.
8. Changes to these terms
As Noteaux develops toward general availability, these Terms may be updated to reflect actual product functionality and status. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
